There are some simple checks that you can do at home which will help your car to pass the test:

• Inside your car – check that the seatbelts and the horn are working and make sure that any warning lights on the dashboard have been dealt with before the MOT test (BCP Specialists can help you with those).
• Lights – if there are blown bulbs, your car will fail the MOT test, so check all the lights are working including the one above the registration plate.
• Mirrors – they need to be securely fitted and free from any damage.
